Having recently had the very great pleasure of interviewing Kylie Minogue, I can happily confirm she is as intoxicating and impressive as her reputation suggests. Ms Minogue is all class, empathy, sensibility, openness and self-deprecating wit. So when she was announced as the headline act to open Sydney WorldPride 2023 on February 24, there was no doubt as to who would grace the cover of Winning Magazine’s Purpose issue.

Our writer Gavin Scott previews one of Australia’s most anticipated events, from the epic parties to the pioneering cultural program, and speaks to the identities making it all happen.

Given this is our Purpose issue, we searched far and wide for creators, brands, trends and destinations that best represent persistence, intention and principle right now.
